Summer Camping |
Summer camp continues to be a strong motivator
for Scouts. It is a great source for rank advancement and merit badge
activity. The boys will attend merit badge classes, swim, fish and participate
in other camp and troop activities.
Ben Delatour Summer camp in Colorado is also available to
all boys who have attended at least one summer camp with the troop at
Bartle. |

The
H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, located in Osceola, Missouri, is home to
over 6,600 Boy Scouts and 3,000 leaders each summer. The 4,200 acre reservation
consists of three camps: Lone Star, Sawmill and Piercing Arrow, and the
Osage Wilderness Trail. The H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation has been a summer
home to Scouting and it's honor camping program the Tribe of Mic-O-Say since
1929. |

Camp Naish consists of 850
acres owned by the Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, and
an additional 350 acres held by the council on long-term lease. The camp
has been operated by the Boy Scouts as a long-term summer camp since 1925.

Ben Delatour Scout
Ranch offers Rocky Mountain camping Adventure on 3,400 acres northwest of
Fort Collins, Colorado. BDSR offers patrol cooking or dining hall meals.
Highlights include rock climbing & rappelling, C.O.P.E., shooting, over
