Outing is the Heart of Scouting
The troop's camping program consists of monthly campouts, summer camp at H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation near Osceola, Missouri and, for older scouts, High Adventure camping. Scouts are strongly encouraged to participate in the camping program. Much of the leadership skill, scout craft, and rank advancement activity is incorporated into the camping program. Through participation, Scouts are challenged to learn new skills and to perfect old ones.
