High Adventure Awaits You

As Scouts gain in age, rank and skill, opportunities to participate in High Adventure programs becomes a possibility. Our Scouts have participated in programs such as Seabase in Florida, Packard High Adventure Base and Ben Delatour Scout Ranch High Adventure programs in Colorado. Last year a crews from the troop attended Seabase, Northern Tier and Ben Delatour Scout Ranch.

Philmont Ranch Website The mission of Philmont Scout Ranch is to achieve the purpose of the Boy Scouts of America and to serve local councils by providing an outstanding High Adventure, training, or family program experience to older Scouts and family members.
This mission is achieved through the combined efforts of the Camping, Training, Ranching and Administrative departments of Philmont.
Transfer to Packard High Adventure Site Whitewater rafting is only half of the PHAB experience. The challenge of the rugged Rocky Mountains still awaits your Crew. Our mountain program offers a diverse range of activities to meet the needs and desires of everyone attending PHAB. There are five mountain programs options that your Crew can choose to do. Some of these programs include an additional cost, which is noted in the program description.

Transfer to Seabase Web Site The Florida National High Adventure Sea Base is headquartered in the heart of the fabulous Florida Keys, on an island (Lower Matecumbe Key) 75 miles south of Miami. Scouting's most complete aquatic facility offers a complete variety of water activities from SCUBA diving to sailing "Tall Ships". All of our participants have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, and fish among the most beautiful coral reefs in the northern hemisphere.
