The tribe of the the Mic-O-Say is the honor camping organization of the Heart of America Council for those who do long term camping on the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Its purpose is to give recognition to older scouts and adult leaders who have demonstrated and proven their devotion to Scouting even beyond the extra mile. It is a boys' program guided and inspired by adults. Adult leaders are brought into the tribe so that they may interpret and encourage the use and application of these principles in the lives of the boys.

Mic-O-Say's purpose is to enhance and intensify the principles and ideals of Scouting. It is intended also, to encourage participation in the Scouting program on an extended basis. It also attempts to build a stronger love, respect, and commitment between the Scout and his family, God, country, and those who are younger and weaker.
